Hi everyone!

Only a few days left until our Charity Zoom Seminar for which we have been raising money for our chosen Charity ‘Runnymede Trust’.

Please, if you haven’t so already, message Sensei Kate and join us for both of the classes on Saturday! We have had confirmation that our friends from Ishinryu Australia will be attending so it is going to be a fantastic morning of training with athletes from across the world!

If you feel you can donate, however small, towards this fantastic charity it would be very much appreciated- it is such an important cause and we feel honoured to be playing a small part in raising awareness.

Thanks all! See you Saturday!

Wow! Still one week to go until our online Seminar raising money for our chosen charity Runnymede Trust and we have already raised well over double our intended amount for this amazing charity!

Really hope to raise as much as we can in this next week and look forward to seeing as many people as possible to join us for our two 45minutes classes!

Again, THANK-YOU to everyone that has committed to the classes and donated thus far! Your support and generosity really means so much to us and Runnymede Trust!

Still time to donate and join us for our two classes. Please click the link above to donate.Karwacinski Karate Seminar- Saturday 27th June 2020.

Runnymede Trust is the UK's leading independent race equality think tank, generating intelligence to challenge race inequality in Britain through research, network building, leading debate, and policy engagement. They work for social justice & race equality to improve the life chances of Black, and Minority Ethnic People.

Recent events have shown that action is needed.

As a family we are passionate about this cause and could not think of a better way to support, in our own small way, such an important message.

We will be running two separate 45 minute classes focusing on Kata, Kumite and Kihon. Karateka of any age or grade are welcome to join us.

We ask that you please donate a minimum, if you can, of £5 towards this exceptionally important cause using the above ‘Just Giving’ link. Please email gphishinryu@gmail.com with your interest and we will then forward the details of the classes to you.

We would hugely value your support in joining us on this seminar and raising money for this worthy charity.

Thank-you all.

Re post from Sensei Kate who led a very successful Masterclass for athletes from Ishinryu Australia this morning!

Such a pleasure to teach my seminar this morning for my fellow Ishinryu athletes in Australia! I really enjoyed training with you all! Still strange getting used to teaching over the internet but it’s wonderful how we can still all come together, train hard and enjoy the sport and martial art we love! ISHIN 💪🏻

Another great week of our online training sessions! Very proud of everyone making the commitment and effort to attend the classes- we notice each and every one of you and are very proud of you all!

Thankyou to everyone for their continued positive responses to these classes- we appreciate it all!

Re post from Sensei Kate:

Well done to all those who were able to access and attend my class this morning and the first online class on behalf of the EKF! English Karate Federation LTD

A shame there were technical difficulties which i understand meant a lot of you couldn’t access the session but I hope to be able to see you all and run another class soon!

To those who were able to attend, hope you enjoyed it. We had over 100 participants and it was my pleasure to be able to offer a free training session for all EKF athletes to train together at a time of such uncertainty!

Stay safe, stay healthy and remember KEEP TRAINING 💪🏻 hopefully see you soon!

Sensei Kate is delighted to have been asked by the English Karate Federation to run their first online Seminar this Sunday 17th May 2020 at 11am.

We feel this course would benefit and is therefore accessible for those holding the grade of yellow belt and above at our club due to the advanced level of training.

If any of our students are interested in attending this 30 minute session please let us know ASAP! It is being run free of charge for athletes to attend.

Deadline to submit interest is this Saturday at 8pm!

Thank you senseis. You are 👌. As Amanda and Michelle have already said thank you for keeping these sessions going. They are more helpful than you will ever know x

And a huge thanks to all of you for continuing to provide sessions and a little time of 'normality' for our children 😀🥋

Boys would be lost without their training. Thank you for keeping up the sessions and providing a bit of normality and routine.

Josh is loving it so a big thank you all for doing this. It really hoped to keep going as normal as possible xx

Kids are loving it! Jack wanted to stand in front today but Ava refused because she’s the higher grade! 🤣
